There are lots of ways that you can help the library!

• make a donation through the link at the right
• attend one of our events - check out the News page for current details
• send a greeting card - make a donation to the library as a gift to someone special, and they will receive an electronic greeting card
• buy a book for the library - coming soon! You will be able to select a book for the library, and be the first patron to check it out from the branch of your choice.
• buy a book for yourself - by purchasing a book online from Chapters.ca or Amazon.ca, a portion of the proceeds go to the library

The Library Foundation works with the Library Board, the Library Administration, and the public to help determine what the Library needs most. The Library Foundation is a community-based and volunteer-driven organization, so your involvement and participation is vital to our success!

Ideas and suggestions for fundraising projects can be brought forward to the Library Foundation by anyone, at any time. Written proposals, even in the form of a letter or email message, are preferred as they most clearly describe the project, but the ideas can also be presented in person through a presentation to the Board of Directors.

You can also get involved by joining an action committee that may be planning an event - such as a gala dinner, a speaker series, or one our of many fundraising drives. By getting involved in this way, you can choose the amount of time you commit to the project, and make the most of your support for your library!
